The first Picture of the Month (POM) of the year!

I will be running Picture of the Month for the rest of the year and at the end of the year Pinkbike will name its first Picture of the year! If you missed last month's POM you can find it here. Look inside for the top five pictures of January 2010!

Cory Tepper shot this of Billy Lewis and with a score of 29.64 it made 5th place this month.

Josh Kern, a friend of mine made the list at number four this month. This photo scored a 29.49. Remember POM is like golf, the lowest score wins, only if you got a 29 in golf you would not be very good!

Justin Brantley, one of Pinkbike's go-to photographers finds one of his photos in the POM top five for the first time. For some reason I don't think it will be the last time. Nice job JB!

 me too. I really like how in yours (#4) the rider splits the skyline, and isn't all the way above the ridgeline.

 I fail to understand how this rating system works. Seems to me that the picture that took #1 spot has less views and less fav's than the picture that took #4 spot? I thought I read that the "formula" used was total views devided by total fav's, in which case if both pics had 20 000 views, whichever one had less fav's would score higher and be more desirable?

 Yes, that is true... But, its the picture with the lowest score wins. sooo It was all true minus the last part

 tuck no hander of colin takes the cake. the winner is way to blown out

 I don't know man, on some screens it seems to be blown out, on my Iphone it seems to be just fine, and on my laptop too. Not to mention my Lacie photopressesing monitor, it looks just perfect. But at a friends house it looks blown out. Such a shame you can't view the shot as I had intended it. Thanks anyway guys.

 yeah, to see pics properly you need to calibrate your monitor, can make a huge difference. That shot looks perfect on my screen.
